Malossi MHR 50cc 40mm Cylinder Kit Pin 10 – Minarelli Horizontal LC

The Malossi MHR 50cc 40mm cylinder kit is a high-end racing cylinder designed for Minarelli horizontal liquid-cooled (LC) 2-stroke engines. This MHR version is developed for competition use and maximum performance within the 50cc class.

The cylinder is manufactured from a special aluminium alloy with high silicon and titanium content, providing exceptional strength and heat resistance. The inner bore features a Nicasil coating (silicon carbide on nickel matrix) for extreme hardness and outstanding wear resistance.

With a 40 mm bore, the kit maintains 50cc displacement but delivers significantly higher performance thanks to optimized port and exhaust timing.

The included MHR cylinder head is made from a high heat-exchange aluminium alloy. The combustion chamber has been completely redesigned to achieve a high compression ratio and strong turbulence.

The piston is produced from a special aluminium alloy and features a graphite coating for reduced friction. It uses a 1 mm hard chrome plated piston ring for reliable sealing at high RPM.
