Polini CP 17.5mm Carburetor Cable Choke Spigot Mount 201.1701

The genuine Polini CP 17.5mm carburetor with cable choke, part number 201.1701, has been fully designed and manufactured by Polini for sporty 2-stroke scooters, mopeds and geared motorcycles. Its compact construction, low weight and accurate fuel metering make it highly suitable for sporty road setups and mild engine tuning.

With its 17.5 mm venturi, this Polini CP carburetor offers a good balance between torque, throttle response and fuel efficiency. The air inlet is positioned centrally in front of the venturi, helping to maintain stable airflow at every throttle slide position. This results in consistent fuel atomisation and predictable engine performance.

This version features a round throttle slide and a cable-operated choke, allowing the choke to be operated remotely with a suitable choke cable. The carburetor also has connections for fuel, vacuum and oil.

The carburetor has a 25 mm spigot connection and can be installed with a suitable spigot-type intake manifold. The air filter connection has a diameter of 46 mm.

Every Polini CP carburetor is checked during production for float needle sealing and correct float level. Final jetting should always be adjusted to suit the cylinder, exhaust, ignition and air filter configuration.
