The genuine Polini CP Evolution 19mm carburetor with manual choke, part number 201.1903, is an advanced racing carburetor for powerful and high-revving 2-stroke scooters, mopeds and geared motorcycles. The Evolution version is aimed at engines requiring maximum throttle response and performance, including sport, sprint and racing setups.

With its 19 mm venturi, this carburetor combines high air velocity with accurate fuel metering. The compact aluminium body, short air inlet and round throttle slide contribute to crisp throttle response. This makes the Polini CP Evolution suitable for high-revving engines operating at speeds of up to approximately 15,000 rpm.

This version features an easy-to-use manual choke and a fuel connection. It does not have an oil or vacuum connection. Always check whether this configuration is suitable for the engine setup before installation.

The carburetor has a 28.5 mm spigot connection and can be installed with a suitable spigot-type intake manifold.

The CP Evolution is supplied with an aluminium velocity stack that increases the air inlet diameter from 46 mm to 60 mm. This bellmouth is intended for use without an air filter, for example in sprint or racing applications. When the velocity stack is removed, the carburetor has a standard 46 mm air filter connection compatible with Polini CP power filters.

Compatible Polini CP air filters without the velocity stack:

• 30° bend: Polini CP 46 mm power filter with 30° bend
• 90° bend: Polini CP 46 mm power filter with 90° bend

The final jetting must always be matched to the cylinder, exhaust, ignition, fuel and air intake configuration. Careful carburetor tuning is especially important when using the open velocity stack.
