Installation Advice

Before installation, always check that all mounting hardware is securely tightened. Periodically inspect exhaust and silencer fasteners to prevent loosening caused by engine vibrations.

When using any exhaust system, whether black, chrome or raw metal, heat generated around the exhaust bend may cause the following:

• Black painted exhausts may experience paint deterioration.
• Chrome and raw metal exhausts may discolor.

An incorrectly adjusted ignition timing or a main jet that is too small can cause excessive exhaust port temperatures, increasing the chance of discoloration. No warranty is provided against discoloration or paint deterioration on the exhaust bend.
