SP SHA 15/15 Aftermarket Carburetor Tomos A35 A52 Manual Choke

This SP SHA 15/15 carburetor is an affordable aftermarket alternative to the well-known Dellorto SHA carburetor. It is suitable for various Tomos A35 and A52 mopeds with reed valve engines and can be used as a replacement carburetor or for a sporty engine setup.

The carburetor features a 15 mm venturi and an easy-to-operate manual choke. Thanks to the compact SHA design, installation is straightforward while keeping the carburetor easily accessible for maintenance and tuning.

This version includes a filter mesh and protective cover. The intake connection has an outside diameter of 21 mm and is supplied with a reducing sleeve for a 19 mm intake manifold.

Installation and tuning advice

• Always replace the supplied blank main jet with a suitable Dellorto 5 mm main jet.
• Select the correct jet size for your cylinder, exhaust, air filter and engine setup.
• When in doubt, start with a larger main jet and gradually work down to the correct size.
• Install the carburetor carefully and avoid overtightening the mounting clamp.
• Small dimensional differences may occur with aftermarket carburetors due to production tolerances.
• Always check for fuel leaks and air leaks after installation.
