Tunap 974 fuel cleaner & protector is an additive that you add to the petrol content of your tank. Due to stricter emission requirements, bio products such as ethanol are added to the current E5 & E10 fuels. Ethanol can cause varnish and resin deposits in the fuel system, such as in carburetors & injectors. With the 974 fuel cleaner & protector from Tunap these deposits can be dissolved. In addition, this additive leaves a protective layer in the fuel system against protection from acids, dirt & corrosion after use.

Ethanol attracts moisture:

In addition, bio ethanol has the property to attract moisture (hygroscopic). In your petrol tank this can result in a moisture layer at the bottom of the tank. Especially in the winter period when the engine is stationary this can occur. The Tunap 974 is able to neutralize and bind moisture. When you add this fuel cleaner and protector to the tank content before winter storage, you will not suffer from moisture that settles at the bottom of your tank. Moisture can indeed cause rust on the inside of the tank, and causes a poorly running engine. It is recommended to let your engine run for a while after adding the Tunap 974 to your tank content, so that the protector and cleaner is present throughout the system.

Application Tunap 974:

• Add a can of 100 ml to the fuel tank at least 1 to 2 times a year.
• Make sure there is at least 5 liters and a maximum of 40 liters of fuel in the tank.
• Always add a can of 100 ml TUNAP 974 when you put the engine on hold for a long time (months), for example in winter storage. Let the engine run for a while after adding the TUNAP 974 or drive a bit with the engine so that the product is mixed throughout the entire fuel system. Only then put the engine in storage. This ensures the preservation of the complete system.

During the start of the motor season and throughout the season, you can repeat this application one or more times at your own discretion, so that the system is optimally cleaned and remains protected.
