Stage6 is always looking for ways to optimize products for street and racing use, and this naturally also applies to the area of brakes.

In the development of the floating 300 mm Stage6 R / T Derbi Senda SM brake disc, the focus was on maximum reliability and maximum braking power, the result is a high-end brake disc that is clearly suitable for racing, but of course can also be used in daily life.

The brake disc is 100% made in Italy and has been tested in real conditions on the track. It is entirely made of high-quality martensitic steel. This type of steel has a high carbon and chromium content, the main advantage is the high hardenability and hardness which ensures an unsurpassed lifespan.

The heat treatment of the brake area is the same as that of superbikes, so that circuit riders in particular can brake consistently and powerfully during the race.

This model floats, which of course looks pretty nice, but also has various advantages. With floating brake discs, the braking force is distributed about 30% more evenly than with normal discs, resulting in a better brake response and more even wear of the brake pads. The brake disc is equipped with orange anodized bearing rings made of 7075 T6 aluminum, the strength of which is comparable to steel, but weighs much less.
